Photon supplies communication terminals for intercom stations and emergency and information kiosks (NIS) including installation accessories. A comprehensive range of intercom stations and terminals for analog, GSM, or Voice-over-IP technology, proven over decades, is available for installation on traffic routes, in train stations or (air)ports, in tunnels, or industrial facilities, optionally in plastic or stainless steel for freestanding installation or wall mounting.

The installation of emergency call stations as freestanding or wall-mounted units is becoming essential at many key locations. They provide people with security and help save lives. Photon has many years of experience in the development and manufacturing for the most diverse fields of application.
GSM-R
GSM-R intercoms are used in the railway network. They are used for operational communication, i.e., communication between mobile and stationary participants in railway operations. A local station telephone connection is established, which can be extended to the line if necessary, as a connection to the responsible operating center, e.g., from the track area to the responsible dispatcher. This does not involve any of the functionalities required for line telephone connections (e.g., emergency calls on the line). They can be used on the railway network (GSM-R) or via a SIM card from a locally available operator (GSM).
OB speaking technology
In the field of OB intercom technology, a comprehensive range of products is available for use as intercom and emergency call stations in the railroad network, in station areas, for railroad tunnels and for industrial monitoring networks. The device family includes OB intercom pillars, OB telephone cabinets, OB sockets, OB desktop telephones and switchover units for up to 12 telephone lines, 12 V DC local batteries and portable OB intercom equipment.
