Areas of responsibility:

• Technical management of a team in the warehouse and dispatch area (shift / department)
• Organization, control and monitoring of daily operational processes
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality and safety standards
• Assistance with incoming goods, picking, packing and shipping as required
• Training new employees and providing instruction
• Interface to scheduling, purchasing, production and forwarding
• Support with inventories, stock checks and process optimization
• Key figure-based control and continuous improvement of processes (CIP / lean)

Requirements:

• Completed training in logistics / warehouse management or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in employee management in a logistics or production environment
• Confident handling of merchandise management systems (preferably MS Dynamics Navision)
• Valid forklift driver's license and extensive experience in handling front forklifts
• Crane operator's license desirable
• Organizational strength, assertiveness and team orientation
• Willingness to work shifts if required
• Good written and spoken German
