Photon AG combines two core competencies under one roof: high-precision rail vehicle construction using state-of-the-art laser technologies and innovative systems engineering for railway infrastructure.
In the field of lightweight construction and laser welding, we develop and manufacture structural components in Berlin that make vehicles lighter, more efficient, and more sustainable – such as trams with particularly large windows, very flat and stable roof structures, and precise and smooth outer skin structures.
At the same time, solutions are being developed in Meissen that will make rail operations fit for the future – from digital signal boxes and electric charging stations to emergency call and information pillars, as well as fastening and safety systems for tracks and tunnels.
