Project details
Combining clean air, i.e., air that is largely free of germs and viruses, with intelligent lighting concepts—that is the mission of Cleantec Lighting GmbH from Leisnig. Its flagship product is the CleanTec Air air disinfection and lighting system, for which Photon is responsible for technological development, manufacturing, and adaptation to a wide range of applications.
Photon has not only adapted and optimized the system for use in doctors' offices. The client can also draw on Photon's in-depth manufacturing and approval expertise in the railway sector for another field of application, namely trains and other public transport. From 2020, a modified version will be available in trains, helping to reduce the risk of infection for passengers.
In addition to laser cutting, bending, and welding of the housing, powder coating and final assembly of the electronic functional assemblies, including functional testing, are also carried out at the Photon site in Meissen.
The air disinfection and lighting system is ideal for other areas of application, such as offices, training and conference rooms, businesses, pharmacies, and clinics.
With its many years of experience and in-depth manufacturing expertise, Photon is able to scale the product in size and shape and adapt it to the respective area of application—from mounting on ceilings, tables, and walls to installation under seats in public transportation.
