Plant operator for CNC laser machines, CNC punching laser machines, and CNC press brakes (m/f/d)

Area of responsibility

  • Set up processing machines or systems according to plan/requirements, adjust measuring equipment, change tools, import programs;
  • Provide materials, prepare tools, set cutting values and tools according to tables, drawings, or adjustment plans;
  • Optimize processing procedures;
  • Produce a sample part, have it approved if necessary, check parts for dimensional accuracy and quality, correct setting data, clamping, etc.;
  • Operate machines/systems, monitor processes;
  • Test and revise programs, coordinate and consult with work preparation, document and archive program documentation and data;
  • Document rework and rejects;
  • Locate and rectify or have rectified fault hotspots and malfunctions, develop and communicate measures for process optimization, forward fault descriptions to maintenance;
  • Monitor maintenance intervals, perform specified repair work;
  • Perform maintenance and cleaning work as required; record maintenance times and suggest alternative measures; set up plan and measuring equipment;
  • Assist with extensive plant repairs;

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of completed specialized vocational training (e.g., construction mechanic) and professional experience
  • Professional experience with CNC laser machines, CNC punching laser machines, and CNC press brakes is desirable.
  • Willingness to work shifts (mainly 2 shifts)
