Small distributor SEW95
The SEW95 cable distributor is used for weatherproof termination and distribution of signal cables with and without induction protection. With protection class IP65, Photon offers a compact, weatherproof small distributor that provides maximum installation flexibility thanks to its optimized housing.
The distributor can be connected in series and cast in place, with factory-prepared cable entries. Depending on requirements, a wide range of models with or without pre-assembled terminal strips and connection options are available. Various installation options in the track bed, for laying in cable ducts, or for wall or tunnel mounting cover all location options.
Accessories include insertion sockets, grounding rails, grounding bolts, stacking kits, grounding cables, blind flanges, feet, wall brackets, and wall mounting kits.
The FG-C cable termination racks (KAG) are used to hold cable joints, end closures, transformers, and other assemblies in bay racks. They offer the option of completely electrically insulated installation and are available in one to five bay versions.
In addition to a center-of-room installation, there is also the option of side-by-side or back-to-back installation. They come pre-assembled with six guide rings and one maneuvering wire holder per double rail, as well as a sleeve compartment for attaching sleeves and U-clamps.
Special designs for fiber optic cables, distribution frames for LSA profile modules (VtS), and our modular range of distribution kits (V-BS) for telecommunications and electrical engineering round off our product range.

SEW95-2 cable distributor
SEW95-2 cable distributors are used for weatherproof termination and distribution of signal cables with and without induction protection in the ground-level area of railway systems.
They can be connected in series and are delivered fully assembled ex works. The SEW95-2 cable distributors are equipped with varying numbers of Phoenix Contact connection terminals (push-in terminals PTTK, PTK, and PTKD). Accessories include a stacking kit, blanking flanges, entry sleeves, grounding rail, grounding bolts, grounding cable, feet, and wall bracket.
The accessories are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. The SEW95-2 cable distributors are mounted on a stand or wall bracket for SEW95 (see accessories).
Components for cable laying such as rail foot clamps (SFK), rail foot branches (SFA), rail foot feeders (SFZ), track feed-throughs (GZF) for axle counters and balises, and track feed-throughs (GDF) are used to reliably secure and safely guide signal, connection, and telecommunications cables in the track area.
Photon components can be assembled and disassembled without special tools, are stuffing-proof, and can be used without speed restrictions.

PÜS module blocks
The PÜS module blocks (Photon surge protection) are designed for installation in DB network cable termination racks (KAG), e.g., the Photon FG-C series. The bay dimension of 152 mm is decisive. The module blocks are based on a mounting tray (galvanized sheet steel), which varies depending on the size and use of the electromechanical components.
The mounting tray has holes for mounting the fastening elements in the KAG (clamping nuts analogous to EVB 92).
Inside the mounting tray is the mounting rail 35 (similar to DIN EN 60 715). Insulation from the mounting tray is provided by insulating blocks and additionally by an insulating channel, which also ensures protection against contact.
The mounting rail is grounded using an M 8 threaded bolt and a cable (6 mm², black, double insulated) (for connection to the total current arrester).
The cable, which is routed out of the mounting tray through a rubber grommet, has a length of 1800 mm, so that it can be routed into the sleeve compartment in any mounting position in the cable termination rack (KAG).
The SEW95-LWL connection boxes are used for weather-protected connection of fiber optic components in the track area. They are available in patch, splice/patch, and splice versions.

LHP – the revolution in track field lighting
Illuminated handrails play an important role in track areas, especially in stations or on railway tracks. Photon's low-level track lighting ensures that areas along the tracks are well lit, reducing the risk of accidents. One important issue is light pollution. This refers to excessive or disorderly lighting that illuminates the night sky and can have negative effects on the environment, wildlife, and human health. The consequences of light pollution are manifold: it can disrupt the natural sleep patterns of humans and animals, impair the orientation of nocturnal animals, and even influence plant growth. With Photon's LHP, light is projected precisely and evenly into the area to be illuminated. Unlike conventional light poles, adjacent areas are spared. The LHP uses LEDs, which ensure energy-efficient and long-lasting lighting. Maintenance and cleaning is recommended every two years.
